Canada→India Remit is a free, independent tool that compares the true, all-in cost of sending money from Canada to India. The advertised fee is only half the story — the bigger cost is usually the exchange-rate markup baked into the INR rate you are offered.

The Indian community in Canada is large and growing, and on a CAD→INR transfer the difference between providers can be significant once the exchange-rate markup is added to the visible fee. A "zero fee" promo can still cost more on the rate. This tool puts the fee and the rate markup together so you can see the real amount that lands in India.

How it works

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. You enter the amount you want to send; it estimates the all-in cost — upfront fee plus the typical exchange-rate margin — and shows the effective INR received, so providers can be compared on a like-for-like basis. Live rates and promos change, so figures are indicative.

Independent and neutral
